Konkurs literacki - Tron Eisteddfodu
Temat: "Razem/Osobno"
I miejsce
Maud - Anna Ekiert
Flora of Wales
I used to be certain that I was unable to bloom
If I did not come in pair
As if my wonders were to be left of no worth
Without other’s blossom right there;
By my side
I was to be the one that fullfills
The one that encourages
The one who is to hope for two
Assured we were a set of two milkmaid’s buds
Until my dear’s petals devoured me
Abandoning me in the bogs
Therefore I have gathered the lot of one’s charm
Sound bog-rosemary to make said marshland my own
II miejsce
MIss Vaughan - Zoria Sokulskie
The Crowsong
To the one that will make me hers
Forgive me, please, my flight
For I cannot but return
My lover sings to me in dreams
With cawing call of crows
I can't forget of her, it seems
And, what is worse, she knows
My lover is a strange old thing
She comes when I'm alone
I feel her put a wedding ring
On me of cold, hard stone
She loves me, and, myself despite
I fear I love her too
I may resist with all my might
But what she'll ask, I'll do
My love was with me once before
And one day will again
I left her arms in blood and gore
And will return in pain
My love draws near to me, I feel
Outside, a mad crow screams
I may try to forget, but still
She'll call to me in dreams

Órfhlaith Annwyl - Ora Walkowska
The Ephemeral Longing
With a silver thread, fates intertwined,
Not a single tear shed,
Farewell bidden in one’s stead,
Completely bereft of dread
Fumbling for words — fable of woes,
Growing restless, a query arose:
‘If one were always by thy side,
Why would one worry, out of pride?’
Tranquilly enduring great ache,
Sacrificed memoirs for their sake,
Lovers ventured into the void,
Solitude wishing to avoid.
The silk-glazed moon shone bright,
A solemn stroll, out of sight.
Delightful mist kissed the coast,
As light breeze glided to view the most.
That fateful evening, indeed,
An oath made succumbed to the need.
Rejoiced at unity anew,
The sun spun the spark on cue.
Astray were they running no more,
Caught in an embrace, as they once swore,
Dancing to their heartbeats’ tune,
Like, at dawn, drake and swan would swoon.
Shalt we be torn apart, do nurture hope,
Remain serene to start,
For unequalled is thy art,
Hidden deep within your heart.
